Travel

Travelling is one of my greatest passions. I have been to 71 of the 193 UN countries so far, and I do not rule out the full set: you can follow the map on Most Traveled People.

Coffee and dining

I take coffee seriously, in particular advanced and experimental fermentations. I drink filter coffee, pour-over or V60. I keep two maps of coffee shops, updated wherever I travel. The first is the short one: places I have verified for excellent pour-over, often from producers working with the fermentations I find most interesting. The second is the wider list of speciality shops worth a detour: over 450 and growing. Two more maps do the same for restaurants.
